Internet dating observations
Plentyoffish dating forums are a place to meet singles and get dating advice or share dating experiences etc.Hopefully you will all have fun meeting singles and try out this online dating thing...
Hopefully this won't get deleted for not being exclusively about dating over thirty but it seems to me that only people over thirty will be able to relate to the subject...unless POF is letting kids make profiles?I also insisted on strictly casual dating since I didn't know where I might be from one month to the next. There was never any problems getting dates, my problems were with time management and the physical impossibility of meeting all of the women who wanted to date me.Now, ten years later, my stock value as an eligible bachelor has decreased significantly, I get that.An aging disabled guy with a cane doesn't exactly conjure up images of Tom Cruise singing "You've lost that loving feeling"; I'm also not reaching out to the A-type personalities who are so involved with fitness and their busy careers that they barely have time for even a part-time man on the side.I'm a little older, a little wiser and interested in very different things.
Something has changed in here and it isn't just me. This isn't whining or a pity party in any way either.
I know exactly how fantastic I am and I also know I that I am a very different person than the guy I was a decade ago.
Ten years ago, I told all of my friends that internet dating was greatest thing since sliced bread.
I told them, if you can write a sentence and be real, the world is your oyster.
There are tons of lonely women dying to get out of the house and go out on a date with a decent guy.
Back then, I never posted a pic of myself despite many, rude comments (mostly from other guys) for professional reasons.
