Dangerous dating relationship

The truth to note is that if God actually did bring both of you together, then ; if it is not healthy, then that is a sign that it was not His will in the first place. You will overlook problems in the person and focus on being a good Christian in response.

God can bring other people into this person's life. The most commonly mis-applied truths are: Enduring hardship for Christ ("You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." - 2 Timothy 2:3) AND believing God works everything out for good ("And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." - Romans ).These scriptures DO NOT apply to circumstances as those mentioned above, especially dating relationships that are clearly inconsistent with your faith and disobeys God's Word. This situation is infact very akin to Satan's use of valid scriptures in tempting the Lord Jesus Christ (see Luke 4:4-13).Dating is not supposed to be a trial that you have to persevere through.Dating is a trial relationship with someone, the period of which is meant to be a testing ground for the relationship, NOT for you.Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith] - 2 Corinthians (Amplified Bible).

Dear beloved friend, do you consider WISDOM while you are dating? As a Christian in a dating relationship with a member of the opposite sex, you MUST be mindful of the Will of your Heavenly Father in ALL you do. Not minding the circumstances under which both of you met, if you believe that God brought you together, then you will begin to get confused if the relationship is not working.

There may be many bad mistakes made out there by Christians dating, however, in this article are three very common, yet very dangerous, dating mistakes Christians make that will keep you in a bad relationship. And because you believe that the relationship must work out, you will begin to justify not breaking up. Just because the other person came into your life does not mean you will be together forever or that there is a divine plan for your life that includes that person.

It is very possible, and in most cases true, that you only inferred from circumstances that God brought you together. Again, if you believe in your heart that this person came into your life so that you will be a witness to him/her, you will begin to justify the struggle to keep a relationship that is obviously not healthy nor good for you as a Christian.

If you notice warning signals inconsistent with your Christian faith or if you sense deviations from the teachings of God's Word in your dating relationship, they are meant to make you Much remain to be said on this particular matter, however, it is quite enough to heed this general advise if you are a Christian, and in a dating relationship: Do not get tripped up by believing these mistruths about dating.

As a practicing Christian you do not want to make these three common, yet dangerous, dating mistakes made daily by unsuspecting Christians the world over.

Instead, be willing to let go of a bad relationship and trust that God will help you meet the right person with whom you will have a healthy and equally yoked relationship.
